The Snows of Kilimanjaro Safari (7 Days/6 Nights)

Climb to the ‘roof of Africa’ and conquer the world’s highest freestanding mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro (5,895m) whose peaks, though only three degrees south of the Equator, are permanently haloed in snow. You don’t have to be a mountaineer to make the ascent either, though it helps to be reasonably fit.

Begin your adventure by overnighting in a Moshi hotel; thereafter you will sleep in special encampments on the mountain itself. Next morning begin the climb that will take you up through the rain forests, open moorlands and finally on to the saddle of this legendary mountain between the peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi. Ascend to Uhuru Peak on Day 5 and then begin your descent. Collect your certificates on Day 6, celebrate and overnight at Moshi.
